Plainly stated, RELIGION IS A SYSTEM OF THOUGHT DISCIPLINE.
THE TIMES the heralding voice of John the Baptist came at a time when the Jewish people had lost their battle with the invading Romans. Once again they were under the harsh rule of pagan conquers, who knew nothing of their customs or their God. The influence of the invading pagans, had caused the morality of a once God loving people, to deteriorate to such a level that John could no longer keep to his vows of silence.
TURN FROM YOUR SIN AND REPENT,TURN BACK TO GOD YOUR CREATOR AND YOUR SINS WILL BE FORGIVEN.
Herod, the governor, desired the physical pleasures of his brother's wife, so he had him murdered. John told Herod he did wrong, and was not living to God's Law.
We know what happened to John.
JESUS, his younger cousin, was also preaching and teaching, TURN FROM YOUR SIN AND REPENT AND YOUR SINS WILL BE FORGIVEN. JESUS called the Pharisees and the Teachers of the LAW, hypocrites because they used the teachings for there own benefit, they wanted the best seats, they wanted to be honored and they were full of pride and arrogance. It hasn't really changed much. Oh THE TIMES
JESUS was asked, why are the times so bad, His answer, "Brother it is not the times that has done this, but rather the wicked world. For in every time it is possible to love and serve God in truth, but by companying with the world, that is with the evil manners in each time, men become bad."

THE MAN two thousand years of ignorance, selfishness, tradition, myth and distortion mixed with deceit and Greek philosophy produced the invented Christ.
However His name is JESUS, from the original Hebrew word YESHUA, or YEHOSHUA, (JOSHUA), Translated into Greek it became ILESOUS and further into Latin/ English we have JESUS.
To the Arabic-speaking people He was called Eesa.
This JESUS was a man, born of woman, as you and I were. He had hair on His head, He had eyes, a nose, ears and a mouth like you and I have. He breathe the same air with lungs, as you and I do. He ate, slept, washed and dressed as you and I. He talked, He laughed, He cried with tears, as you and I do. JESUS' mother, Mary, had sisters, His father was named Joseph, and His brothers were named James, Judas, Joseph, and Simon, He also had sisters. JOHN the Baptist, whose father was a priest, was JESUS' older cousin.

Pliny and Josephus, ancient scholars, wrote about the remarkable life of the ESSENES, who lived in caves, high above the Dead Sea, renouncing the world and hopping to achieve perfection and holiness, by living in solitude. They focused on living a life of purity, as a means of SALVATION.

DID JESUS LIVE AND STUDY WITH THE ESSENES?
WAS JESUS REALLY BORN IN BETHLEHEM?
WHAT ABOUT HIS FAMILY?
WAS FASTING PART OF HIS TEACHINGS AND IF SO WHY?
